MEANING OF OLAM (עוֹלָם)

Olam (עוֹלָם) is the Hebrew word for everlasting, forever, or eternal. Olam is a significant word throughout both the Old Testament and the New Testament Scriptures. One of God's names in the Scriptures is El Olam (Gen. 21:33), signifying the eternal nature of God. God establishes everlasting (עוֹלָם) covenants, gives everlasting (עוֹלָם) life, and is worthy of everlasting (עוֹלָם) praise.
